Distributor Accrual Program - WAM negotiates and manages rebate programs on behalf of our 22 partner distributors. Because the WAM distributors act as a unified group, manufacturers classify WAM as a national account.
This "strength in numbers" gives WAM the ability to negotiate better programs than would be available to each distributor individually. In most cases, these WAM rebates do not affect the local monies that are available.
- Improved Communication/Focus - WAM is in constant
communication with our distributors regarding our manufacturers, their
programs, new items, etc. This is becoming more and more important as
the service frequency from the traditional manufacturer/broker community
decreases. WAM fills this void.
WAM provides monthly comparative sales reports to each WAM distributor.
This helps them to focus on achieving their manufacturers' performance
objectives, thereby maximizing sales.
WAM also facilitates meetings between our manufacturers and distributors at a much higher level than would normally occur. This helps to align the goals of both organizations and helps to quickly resolve any problems that may arise.
- Retailer Accrual Program - WAM also contracts with our manufacturers to offer a comprehensive retailer accrual program. Because of the data from InfoBate, the WAM distributors are able to offer this program to independents, as well as chains. WAM issues annual checks directly to the participating retailers.
The ability to offer this program provides our distributors with a huge competitive advantage in their marketplace and is a great tool for securing new business.
- WAM Pre-Book - The WAM Pre-Book contains all of the WAM manufacturers' retailer accrual programs. The retailers are presented the annual programs once per year and sign a contract agreeing to fulfill the program requirements, otherwise forfeit payment.
